With Neil Young ailing, Sting is once again coming to a festival’s rescue. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will take Young’s spot and headline Saturday at Dana Point, California’s Ohana Festival.

His power trio Sting 3.0 — which includes Dominic Miller on guitar and Chris Maas on drums — will cap the second day of the festival, set for September 27-29 at Doheny State Beach.

Pearl Jam will headline Friday and Sunday. Other artists on the bill include Alanis Morissette, Garbage, Turnpike Troubadours, Maren Morris, Black Pumas, Idles, Jenny Lewis, The Breeders, Crowded House, and more. Limited tickets and weekend packages are available.

Sting is also replacing Young at Bourbon & Beyond in early September.

He is repped by Christoper Dalston and Rob Light at CAA; he is managed by Martin Kierszenbaum of Cherrytree Music Company.
