Austin’s Moody Center To Host Alabama Benefit Concert To Support Local Nonprofit
Red River Rising, Austin Arena Company’s community platform, and Stand Together, a philanthropic community that tackles the root causes of the country’s biggest problems, have teamed up to co-produce a benefit concert at Austin, Texas’ Moody Center starring country-rock legends Alabama. All net ticket revenue will go directly to Austin-based nonprofit Mobile Loaves & Fishes, through Red River Rising’s community platform, to help the organization’s mission to “provide food and clothing, cultivate community and promote dignity to our homeless brothers and sisters in need.”
The benefit concert takes place Dec. 5 as part of Alabama’s “Roll on II North American Tour” that started in March and will feature special guest Bellamy Brothers. The concert is presented by Stand Together.
A venue presale starts Thursday, Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. CT with the code ROLLON and tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. CT via MoodyCenterATX.com.
