The Weeknd will play his first stadium shows in Australia in October after postponing and ultimately canceling a run originally planned for 2023.

The Canadian R&B singer initially announced four dates in Australia and New Zealand near the end of his Live Nation-produced “After Hours Til Dawn” tour, but those dates were pulled shortly before the tour’s launch due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

The new dates are Oct. 5 and 6 at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium and Oct. 22 and 23 in Sydney at Accor Stadium. The now-canceled run had also included shows in Brisbane and Auckland, New Zealand. Neither are included on the new schedule.

The Weeknd finished at No. 9 on Pollstar‘s year-end charts in 2023 with 42 shows in Europe and Latin America, earning $220,985,529 from a ticket total of 2.2 million, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports. Nineteen “After Hours Til Dawn” dates in 2022 grossed $130 million.

The Weeknd is repped by CAA’s Darryl Eaton and managed by SALXCO Management.
