America To Tour U.S., Release Live Album

Multi-platinum favorites America will tour their namesake country in celebration of their 54th anniversary.

The “Ride On Tour 2024” will visit Austin, Baltimore, Charlotte, Cincinnati and more before wrapping Dec. 4 at Denver’s Paramount Theatre.

In addition, the band will release America — Live from The Hollywood Bowl 1975 Sept. 6. Previously released as a Record Store Day exclusive, this album features never-before-heard recordings of their 1975 performance at the legendary venue backed by a symphony conducted by George Martin. It will be available on CD, red vinyl and digitally. The recording was restored and remastered from never-before-heard tapes.

America’s 2023 tour wrapped at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, grossing $262,800 on 3,708 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
