Billy Joel will return to UBS Arena on New Year’s Eve once again following the success of last year’s event. The show is set to start at 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 31.

“Welcoming Billy Joel back to UBS Arena is the perfect way to celebrate what has been a hallmark year for the new venue,” Mark Shulman, Senior Vice President of Programming at UBS Arena, said in a statement. “Capping off a stellar year that has featured legendary performers, marquee sporting events and family shows with our hometown hero is the perfect way to ring in the new year.”

Joel wrapped up his series of shows at Madison Square Garden on July 25, the date grossing $5 million, marking his 150th lifetime show at the venue. He also headlined several stadium dates this summer, including Soldier Field in Chicago on June 21 (grossing $12.4 million) and Coors Field in Denver on July 12 (grossing $7.2 million). Following the wrap of his MSG shows, Joel went to Cardiff, United Kingdom, for a date at Principality Stadium on Aug. 9, grossing $10.4 million.

UBS Arena, developed in partnership with Oak View Group (Pollstar‘s parent company), the New York Islanders and Jeff Wilpon, has hosted numerous iconic artists since first opening in 2021, including shows from Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Stapleton, Dua Lipa, Drake, Harry Styles and more.
