Dates Announced For Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour 2024 

Now that it’s officially fall, it’s time to make plans to celebrate the holidays with the Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour. The routing is here for the 27th anniversary edition of the longest-running jazz-based Christmas tour, with shows in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, San Diego and more.

And if not for a love of Christmas songs, maybe the tour is a gateway to finding zen. As a 2022 article that ran in Esquire by Jeff Gordinier explained, “The person who embraces the musicianship of the likes of Dave Koz is one who has found peace and has zero f*cks to give.”

Saxophonist and composer Dave Koz will be joined on the road by his long-time musical partner guitarist/singer Jonathan Butler, along with special guests saxophonist Vincent Ingala, guitarist Adam Hawley and vocalist Rebecca Jade.

Earlier this year Koz released the EP Dave Koz Does Disney including his take on tunes such as “When You Wish Upon A Star” from “Pinocchio.” His latest holiday release is 2022’s Christmas Ballads. A review from the Bay Area’s Mercury News proclaims “The smooth jazz master explores the romantic side of the season as he offers up such ballads as ‘Merry Christmas Darling’ and ‘Ave Maria.’ The performances, of course, are top-notch…” Koz most recently teamed up with Bob James for a collaborative project that will be released in 2025.

The 2024 Christmas Tour starts with a show on Black Friday on Nov. 29 at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Check out the routing below, which includes multiple nights in Florida, Ohio and California.

Koz is managed by W.F. Leopold Management and his agent is Independent Artist Group’s Jim Gosnell. Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for Koz include a Dec. 21, 2023, show from last year’s “Dave Koz & Friends: A Smooth Jazz Christmas” show at San Jose Civic in San Jose, California, that sold 1,408 tickets and grossed $101,794. The performance was promoted by Nederlander Concerts.
