Chappell Roan Drops Out Of All Things Go Appearances To 'Prioritize My Health'

One month removed from canceling shows in Europe, pop phenomenon Chappell Roan announced that she is pulling out of All Things Go festival appearances in Forest Hills, New York, and Columbia, Maryland, this weekend to prioritize her health.

“I apologize to people who have been waiting to see me in NYC & DC this weekend at All Things Go, but I am unable to perform,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks and I am really feeling it. I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health. I want to be present when I perform and give the best shows possible. Thank you for understanding.”

The 26-year-old singer-songwriter, who graced the cover of Pollstar in June, has been in the news the last few days after posting a video on TikTok in which a visibly frustrated Roan explained why she doesn’t endorse a presidential candidate.

Last month, Roan, who has been outspoken in her struggles with handling her meteoric rise to fame, canceled shows in Amsterdam and Paris due to scheduling conflicts.

Representatives from All Things Go expressed their support for the reigning MTV Video Music Award Best New Artist winner when announcing the news to fans.

“While we know how much you’re looking forward to the performances, it’s important to remember that health and well-being comes first,” the event wrote on X. “All Things Go strongly supports artists prioritizing their well-being and we ask our community to rally around Chappell Roan with love and understanding. Let’s continue to show the world that music fans support not just the art, but the artists themselves.”

Roan is represented by Wasserman Music’s Jacki Nalpant and Kiely Mosiman in North and South America, and Wasserman Music UK’s Adele Slater and Anna Bewers worldwide (excluding North America). She broke records with her festival plays and was bumped up to larger stages throughout the summer. Roan reportedly had the largest-ever attended daytime set at this year’s Lollapalooza in Chicago. She’s performed amphitheaters in June, including Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, North Carolina, to 5,550 fans on June 12, the show grossing $211,067, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.
