Billy Joel Announces Two European Stadium Performances
Billy Joel is set to return to the UK for two exclusive performances in 2025: on Saturday, June 7, at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland; and on Saturday, June 21, at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, England.
Joel hasn’t been to either city in more than 45 years, and these two unique opportunities mark his only European performances in 2025. General Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 4.
These two shows follow his sold out European exclusive this summer at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Aug. 9, which sold out 60,530 tickets at a $10,453,786, according to the boxoffice report submitted to Pollstar for the Live Nation promoted show.
The two 2025 dates in the UK will be promoted by both AEG Presents and Live Nation by arrangement with Independent Artist Group, where Joel is represented by Dennis Arfa.
Fans can expect many of Joel’s 33 Top 40 hits, all of which he has written himself, beginning with “Piano Man” (1973). He’s one of the best-selling live performers of our time. In January 2014, Joel began Madison Square Garden’s first-ever music franchise performing one show at The Garden each month – more than 50 years after his Garden debut. His final concert this past July marked Joel’s 150th performance at the building.
