Jimmy O. Yang Announces ‘Big & Tall Tour’

Actor/comedian Jimmy O. Yang has unveiled the dates for the “Big & Tall Tour,” which starts with two performances at New York City’s Carnegie Hall on Nov. 9. The routing is concentrated in theaters but also includes arena shows at the 17,500-capacity Kia Forum in Inglewood, California and Honolulu’s 8,800-capacity Neal S. Blaisdell Arena.

Other stops include Boston’s The Wilbur, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Denver’s Paramount Theatre, Toronto’s Meridian Hall and Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre.

Yang posted an announcement on Instagram about the trek, saying, “🚨New Tour, new material, Bigger and Taller than ever. (Use presale code: BIG) 18 cities, more to come, Carnegie Hall to LA Forum, LFG 🫡”

He added, “Seattle and more cities will be announced soon 😎”

Yang’s latest comedy special “Guess How Much?” was released in 2023 on Amazon Prime and covers material including “BTS, love languages, loser friends and negotiating with his Asian parents.”

His film/TV credits include starring as Jian-Yang in the HBO series “Silicon Valley,” Dr. Chan Kaifang in the Netflix series “Space Force,” Josh Lin in the Netflix film “Love Hard” and Bernard Tai in the film “Crazy Rich Asians.” This week it was announced that Yang would star in “Rock Springs,” a new film from writer-director Vera Miao, along with Kelly Marie Tran and Benedict Wong, according to Variety. He also stars in the TV series “Interior Chinatown,” which is set to premiere on Hulu on Nov. 19.

Yang’s standup/live events are booked by CAA’s Matt Blake and Ethan Kurtzman. His managers are Artists First’s Itay Reiss and Bryan Walsh.

The most recent report submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for Yang was a December 2022 show at the Sydney Opera House that sold 2,009 tickets and grossed $94,444.
