Steve Earle, City Winery Host 10th Annual John Henry’s Friends Benefit At NYC’s Town Hall

Steve Earle will be joined by Jackson Browne, Margaret Glaspy, and Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams for the 10th Annual John Henry’s Friends Benefit concert The Town Hall in New York City. Hosted by Earle and City Winery, the fundraiser will benefit The Keswell School, an educational program for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Founded on the belief that children diagnosed with ASD can live full and productive lives as integrated members of their communities, The Keswell School provides educational, therapeutic, and supportive services for children diagnosed with ASD and their families.

Limited VIP packages are available at the City Winery website and include Town Hall’s orchestra seating, as well as admission to the After Party immediately following the show and various experiences with Steve Earle. General Admission ($75-$150) tickets are on sale at The Town Hall.

The five acclaimed singer-songwriters will perform together in a guitar pull format, taking turns on guitar.

“Jackson Browne suited and showed up for our very first John Henry’s Friends concert,” Earle stated. “We are thrilled to announce that, in celebration of our 10th anniversary, Jackson will return as our special guest.”

Past performers include Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, David Byrne, Rosanne Cash, Graham Nash, Shawn Colvin, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, Jason Isbell, Josh Ritter, Amanda Shires, Terry Allen and others.

Earle is booked by United Talent Agency’s David Zedeck, Christian Bernhardt, Justin Hill and Lance Roberts. He’s managed by Gold Village Entertainment’s Jesse Bauer.

Earle performed in Verona, New York, on July 20 with a date at Showroom At Turning Stone Casino Resort, the date grossing $26,365, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice. He played a show at The Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia, on June 17, the show grossing $32,500.
