Found Festival, a new boutique UK event, will launch in Buckingham, England next summer.

The team behind the UK’s oldest independent festival, Towersey Festival, begin a new chapter with the launch of a brand-new boutique festival. From Aug. 22 to 24, 2025, Found Festival promises “an inclusive yet exclusive event of musical and cultural discovery, connection and inspiration at the scenic Claydon Estate in Buckingham,” according to the announcement.

Found Festival takes over the dates and site of Towersey Festival, which moved to Claydon Estate in 2022. For the creators of Found, hosting festivals has been part of a family legacy lasting generations. Towersey Festival lasted an incredible 60 years, celebrating its very last edition Aug. 23-26 as a third-generation family business.

Festival director Joe Heap is the grandson of Towersey Festival founder Denis Manners; his older sister Kathy Mowatt was responsible for the overlay, site decor, and creative, as well as all the volunteers working on Towersey each year; and his younger sister, Mary Hodson was co-director, project and production manager.

Hodson, who’ll also co-direct Found Festival, commented, “with a deep-seated passion for curating unforgettable experiences, we’ve inherited the art of bringing people together through music, culture and community.

“Our rich heritage inspires everything about Found Festival; we believe that life’s most meaningful moments happen when we step outside our daily routines and immerse ourselves in new experiences. Our festival is not just an event; it’s an opportunity to experience creativity and connection and take it back to your daily life.”

Found Festival is “a place to discover head-turners not headliners,” the press announcement states, adding, “the soon-to-be-released program will blend the raw beauty of Americana, Folk, Country, Roots, Blues and World music, genres with storytelling that connects and strikes a chord for all.”

Music will be mixed with spoken word, comedy, circus, and arts, talks and workshops, with audience interaction being “a crucial element of the festival.”

To make sure a proper community spirit can develop among festival goers on Claydon Estate’s relaxed countryside setting, the capacity of Found Festival has purposely been limited to 2,000. Found Festival wants to offer enough space so kids can run free, and families have as much space as needed to set up a proper camp.

Finally, with “the best, hand-picked street food and craft drinks, and a real focus on learning and experiences beyond the stages, Found aims to enrich the festival market with an alternative approach that leaves visitors feeling relaxed, inspired, and found.”

Tickets for Found Festival are on sale for £115 (young people), and £215 (adult), with plenty of camping add-ons available. The price includes camping. Plenty of add-ons are available on the festival’s website.
