Intocable Kicks Off ‘Antología Tour’ In Mexico City Performing For 35K Fans
Grammy Award-winning band Intocable kicked off its 2025 run with a big show in Mexico City. The iconic regional Mexican band hailing from Zapata, Texas, kicked off its “Antología Tour 2025” performing for two hours in front of 35,000 fans at Monumental Plaza de Toros in the nation’s capital on Feb. 15, supporting their latest and most ambitious album, “Modus Operandi,” released last year and playing many of the hits they’ve produced over the past 30 years like “Y Todo Para Que,” “Fuerte No Soy” and “Enseñame a Olvidar.”
The Mexico City fans were also treated with a surprise guest on the show. Pepe Aguilar, a Grammy-winning artist and the son of legendary Mexican singer Antonio Aguilar, joined the band on stage for three songs. Intocable also received a welcome surprise before the show and were presented a plaque recognizing their song “Si Me Duele Que Duela,” which reached platinum status in Mexico.

Intocable plans on making more memories with fans in the States this year with 20 dates confirmed this year. They open the U.S. leg of the tour performing at the Jalapeño Festival on Feb. 22 in Laredo, Texas, and the routing includes stops at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois; Elizabeth, New Jersey’s Ritz Theatre; Toyota in Ontario, California; Memphis’ Cannon Center for the Performing Arts; and Denver’s Paramount Theatre.
Intocable, is one of the most influential regional Mexican bands with its anthemic hits of love, loss and friendship, had a successful run in 2024, performing sold-out concerts in major markets across North America, including a show at DeVos Performance Hall on March 3 which grossed which grossed $179,935 off 2,094 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice. One of the band’s most successful showings last year was last summer at Honda Center in Anaheim, California, which grossed $518,946 off 5,243 tickets.
