‘Hans Zimmer Live’ Heads To Asia & Australia In 2025

Following a sold-out “Hans Zimmer Live 2024” North American fall tour, the musical mastermind is now headed to Australia, and Asia, April through May – kicking off April 24 in Brisbane, Australia, and closing May 31 in Abu Dhabi.

Tickets for the Australian tour leg went on presale Feb 11, and sold out some 50,000 available tickets within 24 hours. Tickets for the Asian dates, which include stops in China, Japan, and Korea are still available. The onsale for the Asia dates begins Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. local time in each market.

Hans Zimmer will bring his renowned 19-piece live band, supported by a full orchestra and choir, to all the shows, just like he did on the recent North American run.

Highlights from the “Hans Zimmer Live 2024” North American fall tour include a sold out Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, Sept. 12, 2024, where Zimmer moved 11,673 tickets at a $1,984,348; a sold out Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON, Sept. 19, 2024 (13,010 tickets, $1,637,430 gross); and a sold-out Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA, Oct. 5, 2024 (13,356, $1,948,468), according to the box office reports submitted to Pollstar for those shows.

Semmel Concerts and RCI Global, the production company founded by Hans Zimmer and his long-time business partner Steven Kofsky, produce the show together. They worked with AEG Presents/Concerts West to promote it in North America. Responding to the overwhelming demand, they added five additional performances in early 2025 in Austin, Nashville, Columbus (OH), Brooklyn, and Baltimore, where the run concluded Feb. 7.

Boxoffice reports were submitted to Pollstar for the Feb. 6, 2025 show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center (12,450 tickets sold, $1,883,045 grossed); and the Jan 31, 2025 concert at Austin’s Moody Center ($10,376, $1,198,521).

Building on that momentum the “Hans Zimmer Live” production now moves to Asia. “In a groundbreaking audio and visual show, the multiple Academy Award® and Grammy winning Zimmer, his band and the orchestra will perform a selection of the composer’s scores from some of cinema’s biggest films. The newly arranged concert suites include music from Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, The Lion King, The Last Samurai and Dune, for which Zimmer received his second Academy Award®,” according to a press release from Semmel Concerts, which is part of Eventim Live, and RCI Global.

According to Zimmer himself, these performances are the last opportunity for fans to see ‘Hans Zimmer Live’ before he begins working on his brand-new live production “Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level,” which comprises 50 dates starting in October 2025, and running through Mach 2026.
