Father John Misty Announces New Headline Tour Dates With Guests Lucinda Williams And Hamilton Leithauser

Indie-rock finger-poker Father John Misty (aka Joshua Michael Tillman) added dates to his headline summer tour as well as special guests Lucinda Williams and Hamiton Leithauser.

The new summer dates begin July 11 in Shelburne, VT, at Ben & Jerry’s Concerts on the Green at Shelburne Museum and run through July 31 in Vancouver, BC at Queen Elizabeth Theatre including two nights at Portland’s Revolution Hall. The current late winter/early spring tour continues tonight, Feb. 21 in Toronto and is ongoing with several sold-out appearances.

Fan pre-sale for the new stops begins Feb. 25 at 10:00 AM (local), with tickets on sale to the general public Feb. 28 at 10:00 AM (local). Sandwiched between Father John Misty will appear on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Thursday, Feb. 27. Tillman’s manager is Dalton Sim at Good Harbour, his agent is Kevin French at CAA.

The tour is in support of Father John Misty’s latest Sup Pop release Mahashmashana. The album and singles had placement on numerous “Best of 2024” lists including The New Yorker, Variety, The Ringer, Vogue, Under the Radar, Uproxx, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, The AV Club, PASTE, Consequence of Sound, PopMatters, GQ (UK), Philadelphia Inquirer, Pitchfork and New York Times.
