A-List And Intimate: Lionel Richie Performs At Union Transfer In Philadelphia March 29

Music icon and media personality Lionel Richie will perform a concert exclusively for Wells Fargo credit cardholders at Philadelphia’s 1,200-cap Union Transfer on March 29.
“I can’t wait to bring a special show to Philadelphia and join the celebration,” said Richie in a release. “My music is all about connection and bringing people together – we’ll keep the party going all night long and make it a night to remember.”
Union Transfer is housed in a former luggage transfer station next to the Reading Railroad. With a GA floor and balcony, the venue can accommodate 1,200, which makes this performance a rare opportunity to experience Richie’s voice and stagecraft in way that isn’t possible in larger rooms and arenas.
Tickets for the concert are now available to Wells Fargo Autograph cardholders until Friday, Feb. 28 when they will be available to all Wells Fargo credit cardholders at 10:00 AM/ET.
Launched in November 2023 with an exclusive Mumford & Sons concert in Los Angeles, the Wells Fargo Autograph Exclusive concert series is designed around placing marquee talent in venues under 2K capacity. Recent concerts have featured Imagine Dragons, Brandi Carlile, Maluma and Halsey.
Ahead of the concert, Richie, 75, will return for his eighth season as a judge on ABC’s “American Idol,” which is set to premiere on March 9. On Sept. 30, HarperOne will release his untitled debut memoir. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer certainly wasn’t lacking inspiration for the book. Richie’s catalogue has sold more than 125 million copies worldwide; he has an Oscar, a Golden Globe and four Grammy awards; and numerous accolades including 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year and the 2017 Kennedy Center Honors. In 2022 he was inducted into the Rock Hall, received the 2022 American Music Awards Icon Award, and awarded the 2022 Gershwin Prize for Popular Song by the Library of Congress.
