Neil Young And The Chrome Hearts Announce World Tour

Neil Young and his new band The Chrome Hearts will tour Europe and North America this summer on the “Love Earth World Tour.”
The European legs begins June 18 at Rättvik, Sweden’s Dalhalla and visits Norway, Denmark, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany through June and July. The North American leg, produced by Live Nation, begins Aug. 8 at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina, and includes stops at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, Fiddler’s Green in Denver, The Gorge at George, Washington; and more, before the tour wraps Sept. 15 at the Hollywood Bowl. More dates are expected. Notably, the admat for the tour mentions UK stops, but the initial routing includes no dates in Great Britain.
Tickets are on sale for Neil Young Archives members Feb. 25 with general on-sale beginning Feb. 28.
Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange will be in place meaning tickets may only be re-sold at the price they were originally purchased and tickets will be mobile only. This provision does not apply to the performances in Illinois, New York, Utah, Virginia or Canada, where such restrictions are illegal.
The last iteration of the “Love Earth” tour — with Young’s long-time backing band Crazy Horse — went on hiatus in June 2024 due to illness, forcing the cancelation of both headline shows and plum festival spots.
Young said Crazy Horse would return but has instead opted to go out with a new band. Guitarist Micah Nelson — who replaced long-time collaborator Nils Lofgren in 2023 — is the only member of Crazy Horse to join The Chrome Hearts, which also includes organist Spooner Oldham, bassist Corey McCormick and drummer Anthony LoGerfo.
The 2024 “Love Earth” was chockablock with sellouts. The last show before the tour’s cancelation was a 14,292-ticket sell-out at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkson, Michigan, May 22, grossing $1,342,442, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports. Two nights at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, grossed a combined $3,355,233 on 21,911 tickets.
Young is repped by Marsha Vlasic at IAG.
