Lady Gaga Announces Concert At Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros

Days before releasing her highly anticipated album, MAYHEM, Lady Gaga announced she will promote the new LP with her first headline show in Mexico City since 2012. The global superstar will perform at Mexico City’s iconic Estadio GNP Seguros (formerly known as Foro Sol) on April 26. Live Nation and Latin American powerhouse promoter OCESA will produce the concert.

Banamex presales begin March 6 followed by the general onsale, which starts March 7 at 2 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster.com.mx.

On the heels of a memorable performance at the FireAid benefit concert supporting Los Angeles wildfire relief, Lady Gaga announced a free show at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach, which is set to take place on May 3, and will serve as host and performer on Saturday Night Live on March 8.  She will also be headlining Coachella on April 11 and 18.

Lady Gaga is booked by Creative Artists Agency’s Rob Light worldwide and managed by Bobby Campbell. Among the 350 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxofice, Lady Gaga has sold 6.6 million tickets grossing $748.6 million. The singer last performed in Mexico City at Foro Sol on Oct. 26, 2012. The sold-out concert grossed $2,693,492, off 37,260 tickets sold.
