Eric Clapton Announces Limited Run Of U.S. Dates

Eric Clapton is headed back to the U.S. for a brief run of U.S. dates including shows at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and New York’s Madison Square Garden. The guitar legend will be joined by special guest The Wallflowers.
Clapton is also bringing along a backing band featuring Nathan East (bass / vocals), Edward ‘Sonny’ Emory III (drums), Doyle Bramhall II (Guitar), Tim Carmon (Hammond / keyboards), Chris Stainton (keyboard) Sharon White (backing vocals) and Katie Kissoon (backing vocals).
Clapton recently released his 22nd solo album, Meanwhile, via Bushbranch/Surfdog Records. The album features six new songs and eight previously released singles and includes collaborations with Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, Bradley Walker, Judith Hill, Daniel Santiago, and Simon Climie. The tour launches Sept. 8 at Bridgestone Arena. Additional stops include Cleveland’s Rocket Arena, Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, Boston’s TD Garden and Uncasville, Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena.
A presale starts Thursday, March 6 at 10 a.m. local, followed by the general onsale on Friday, March 7 at 10 a.m. local.
Clapton is booked by CAA and managed by Bushbranch Limited.
Highlights from his reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice include a Sept. 29, 2024, show at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil that sold 4,234 tickets and grossed $3,785,975.
