The Slayer comeback continues in 2025 and has been extended with the announcement of more performances. In addition to headlining Lounder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, in September and Festival D’été de Québec this summer, the thrash metal band announced it will return to the United Kingdom for the first time in six years to play shows in Cardiff and London in July.

The outdoor events will celebrate Slayer’s legacy and return to the live stage and the metal genre, featuring Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Mastodon, Hatebreed and Neckbreakker as special guests. The first show takes place July 3 at Blackweir Fields in Cardiff, Wales, and the bands then travel to London, England, to perform at Finsbury Park on July 6. Slayer is also one of dozens of acts slated to perform at Black Sabbath’s final concert dubbed “Back To The Beginning” on July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Tickets for Slayer’s U.K. concerts go on sale to the general public March 7 at 10 a.m. via slayer.net.

Slayer is widely considered to be one of the most influential metal acts alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax. Slayer disbanded in 2019 following a farewell tour, and one of their most successful outings was a sold-out show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Nov. 9, 2019, which grossed $1,078,703, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.

The band is booked by Pinnacle Entertainment’s John Dittmar in North America and K2 Agency in other territories. The Rick Sales Entertainment Group manages Slayer.
