BTS’s Jin Announces First-Ever Solo Tour

TOUR POSTER ROUTING

Jin of BTS has unveiled the routing for his first-ever solo tour, featuring 18 shows in nine cities across the globe. Dates are booked in Asia, the U.S. and Europe.

The trek, “#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR,” takes its name from Jin’s variety content series Run Jin on BTS’ official YouTube channel. An announcement from Jin’s PR team notes that as the series comes to a close, the tour will allow Jin to continue connecting with fans.

Jin also has a new album coming out, Echo, on May 16. The LP marks his second solo album, due out just six months after his solo debut, Happy, that includes the hit single “Running Wild.” The tune has topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 70 countries including Brazil and New Zealand.

“#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR,” launches with two nights in Goyang, Korea, June 28-29 at Goyang Auxiliary Stadium. Those performances will be available for livestreaming via global fandom platform Weverse. Next, Jin heads to Chiba and Osaka, Japan. The U.S. portion of the tour starts with two shows at Anaheim, California’s Honda Center July 17-18, followed by gigs in Dallas, Tampa and Newark, New Jersey. The European routing includes stops in London and Amsterdam.

Ticketing details for ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR” will be announced on April 22.

BTS’s most recent tour, “Permission to Dance on Stage,” took place in 2021-2022, with a run of stadium dates booked in South Korea and the U.S. Reports submitted to Pollstar include four nights at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium that sold a total of 199,697 tickets and grossed more than $35.9 million. The group is managed by HYBE Co. Ltd.

The announcement from Jin’s PR team describes the South Korean singer/songwriter as “renowned for his clear tone and emotive voice,” as he “brings warmth and sincerity to his music.” Jin’s first official solo single, “The Astronaut” was co-written with Coldplay and released in October 2022.
