Beyoncé makes a big splash at the boxoffice with the first ticket sales figures reported from her “Cowboy Carter Tour,” produced by Live Nation. The tour’s opening five-show engagement at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, grossed a whopping $55.7 million, making it the highest-grossing concert engagement of the year so far, based on worldwide boxoffice data reported to Pollstar since the beginning of January.

The overall number of tickets sold for the tour opener was 217,143, an average of 43,428 per night. Ticket prices for the concerts ranged from a low of $50 to a top price of $801.

Her sold-out shows at the Los Angeles-area NFL stadium between April 28 and May 9 averaged $11.14 million per show, marking a 7.6 percent increase over the $10.35 million gross average from her “Renaissance World Tour” in 2023. Ultimately, that tour racked up $580 million from 2.8 million sold tickets at 56 stadium performances and ended the year as the second highest grossing tour of 2023.

The 35-time Grammy Award winner launched the current tour at the end of April in support of her Cowboy Carter album, released in March of 2024. The 32-show trek, set to run through July, is her tenth headlining concert tour and her fifth booked entirely in stadiums.

Along with the Los Angeles concerts, Beyoncé will also play multiple shows this year in Chicago, New York, Houston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Las Vegas. Six performances in London and three in Paris are also on the schedule during June. The final two shows are planned for Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, July 25-26.
