Hawaiian Singer Maoli Signs With WME For Global Representation

Hawaiian singer-songwriter Maoli, known for his fusion of country, soul, reggae and Polynesian pride, signed with WME for global representation across all areas, the agency announced Monday.
“Signing with WME is a massive step forward, not just for me, but for everything I represent,” Maoli said in a statement. “It’s always been my kuleana – my responsibility – to share the spirit and sound of Hawaii with the world. I’m beyond grateful to take that mission even further with a team that truly understands the vision.”
WME bolsters its roster with an artist who has amassed more than half a billion global streams across nine independent albums and more than 1.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
“Maoli is a singular talent whose music effortlessly blends the heartbeat of the islands with the soul of country,” WME’s Chris Hrovat said. “His authenticity, passion and cross-genre appeal are undeniable. We’re thrilled to welcome him to WME and can’t wait to help take his music to new audiences worldwide.”
Born and raised in Hawaii, Maoli was inspired by local sounds as well as music from legends like Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and George Strait. He developed a deep connection to country music after a trip to Texas in 2018, and he’s been bridging cultures since.
The singer recently traveled to New Zealand and Australia for a sold-out nine-show run. His most successful outing was at Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, Australia, on Jan. 30. That concert grossed $140,298 off 3,000 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
Maoli is managed by Jason Gibbs, Shawn Dailey and Emilie Glover of Red Light Management.
