“Big Machine 20” also includes the fifth annual Freedom Friday event, honoring members of the military, police, fire, first responders and frontline heroes. Last year’s Freedom Friday drew 118,000 attendees.

“This year’s event has even more meaning as we celebrate 20 years of Big Machine,” shared Scott Borchetta, BMLG founder, Chair and CEO in a statement. “Nobody could’ve predicted our incredible success in a city we love so much. This is our thank you to Nashville and all the fans of our amazing artists and their music. This is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime event and one we’ll never forget!”

Tickets for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and INDY NXT by Firestone 2025 season finale weekend are available now. The 2025 racing champs will be crowned for both series at the fast 1.5-mile oval at Nashville Superspeedway. Previously known as the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix, the Labor Day weekend celebration has been rebranded the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix.

“Big Machine has been a powerful partner in helping us build this event into a Nashville tradition,” said Anne Fischgrund, President of the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix in a release. “The new name of the event reflects the spirit of the city and the evolution of this special championship weekend. We are proud to carry this energy into the season finale with our partners at Big Machine, INDYCAR and the Nashville Superspeedway.”

Borchetta Bourbon was introduced in 2021 by Big Machine Distillery, timed to coincide with the inaugural 2021 Big Machine Grand Prix. At the time, Borchetta – who played a role in bringing INDYCAR back to Nashville – sought to create a connection between Indianapolis and Nashville. The limited-edition, cask-strength, single-barrel bourbon was designed to honor Nashville’s early motorsports history.
