Third Day Announces 30th Anniversary Arena Tour

Seven years after Third Day’s farewell tour, the Christian rock band has returned with dates set for a 30th anniversary arena tour. The tour will feature all four original members reuniting, including bassist/backing vocalist Tai Anderson, who left the lineup in 2015.
The tour, which is scheduled from March through May of 2026, marks 30 years since Third Day released its self-titled, major-label debut in 1996 on Reunion Records. Today’s announcement notes that fans can expect a setlist filled with crowd favorites, pulling from Third Day’s 31 No. 1 singles across 14 albums.
“I’ve been getting asked the question for many years, ‘When is Third Day going to do a tour again’ and I’ve always said… One day soon I hope! I’m so excited that we finally get the chance to play music together again on stage and give our fans what they’ve been waiting for,” lead vocalist/guitarist Mac Powell said in a statement.
Guitarist/backing vocalist Mark Lee adds, “Third Day has always been, first and foremost, a live band. The best way to celebrate 30 years is to get back together for a tour. I can’t wait to get back out on the road with these guys and put on a big show for our fans.”
The tour, which is being produced by the Awakening Foundation, starts March 19, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida, at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena. Stops include Kia Forum in Inglewood, California; Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago; T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri; Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and Target Center in Minneapolis. The road trip wraps up in Third Day’s home state with a May 10 show at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia.
Third Day will be joined by Zach Williams, whose hits include “Chain Breaker” and his “There Was Jesus” duet with Dolly Parton.
“Celebrating 30 years of THIRD DAY is a true honor, and bringing Mac, Mark, David & Tai back to the stage is something fans have been waiting for,” said Dan Fife, CEO of Awakening Events. “Adding Zach Williams as a very special guest makes this tour even more powerful. This is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime night of live music and celebration for all generations to experience.”
Third Day is managed by Red Light Management’s JP Durant. Box office highlights from the band’s 2018 farewell tour include the final stop, which took place June 27 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, selling 8,422 tickets and grossing $425,654.
Tickets for the 30th anniversary tour go on sale Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. local time at ThirdDay.com and AwakeningFoundation.com. Check out the routing below.
