FKP Scorpio counted a total 121,000 visitors across its two German flagship festivals Hurricane in Scheeßel, and Southside in Neuhausen ob Eck, June 20-22.

The twin events were headlined by Green Day, The Prodigy, Rise Against as well as German stars like AnnenMayKantereit, SDP, or Apache 207. Other artists performing across both events include Electric Callboy, Biffy Clyro, Sam Fender, Nina Chuba, Deftones, and many more.

FKP Scoprio CEO and head of booking Stephan Thanscheidt, in addition to his team, thanked the audience in a statement, “In these times especially, he commented, “we are pleased that Hurricane remains a cosmopolitan place where a wide variety of people can celebrate peacefully.”

And he said that visitors should expect some surprises for Hurricane’s 30th anniversary edition in 2026.

Meanwhile, FKP Scorpio renewed the lease for the TakeOff business park in Neuhausen ob Eck, where Southside will take place for another five years at least.

FKP Scorpio founder and CEO Folkert Koopmans commented, “I would like to thank the municipality, the business park, the authorities and all local partners for their trusting cooperation. Even though our company is based in Hamburg, the close partnership with the entire region is very important to us. Festival director Benjamin Hetzer and our entire team are grateful for the hospitality.”

Hurricane and Southside 2026 will take place June 19-21. The early bird presale will kick off tomorrow, June 24, at 12 p.m. local time (Hurricane), and 2 p.m. local (Southside).

The first lineup announcement will be made in July.
