Morgan Wallen’s New Stadium Tour Earns Top 10 APX Debut

Morgan Wallen makes his debut on the Artist Power Index following the launch of his new “I’m the Problem Tour” that kicked off with a two-night event at Houston’s NRG Stadium, June 20-21. Booked in North American venues this summer, the tour’s opening weekend featured a guest appearance by Koe Wetzel, while future shows during the 12-week trek will include performances by country heavyweights Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn and Thomas Rhett. A slate of other country artists will also play opening sets during the run.
The tour supports the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year’s fourth studio album, released on May 16, and is scheduled to continue into September. Wallen will play 10 cities on the tour, performing on back-to-back nights in each market.
Along with Houston, the tour will visit cities on both U.S. coasts as well as the Midwest before wrapping with a two-city swing through Canada. The final stop will be at Edmonton, Alberta’s Commonwealth Stadium, Sep. 12-13.
Wallen last toured with his “One Night at a Time World Tour” that spanned two years. The 2023-2024 tour included concerts at arenas and outdoor amphitheaters as well as stadiums. Based on boxoffice results reported during the trek, he averaged 13,980 sold tickets and a $2.5 million gross per show at the arenas and sheds. Then, at the stadium events, his average attendance was 46,239 while gross revenue per night reached $9.8 million.
At No. 1 for a third week on the Artist Power Index, The Weeknd retains the top ranking on the strength of 10 stadium performances that land in the eligibility period for this week’s chart. Included were two-show engagements at both Soldier Field in Chicago and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, along with three concerts at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Boxoffice figures reported on the singer’s “After Hours til Dawn Stadium Tour” this year show a gross of $34.5 million from the first five concerts in 2025, with attendance totaling 232,396.
Ticket sales from the four most recent shows on the tour also earn The Weeknd “Hot Shot” status on LIVE75 as the touring artist with the highest ranked debut. He scores the No. 2 ranking based on an average of 43,546 tickets sold per night at stadiums in Detroit and Chicago. From two-show runs in both markets, he also averaged $6.5 million per concert, the second highest gross average on the chart.
Beyoncé remains at the top in that metric, though, and is LIVE75’s “Heavy Hitter” with the top gross average for a seventh consecutive week. She averages a whopping $14.1 million per show from eight performances during her ongoing world tour. And, with a ticket sales average of 49,167, she claims No. 1 on the chart for the third time in 2025, having previously held the top ranking on the May 30 chart and the following week’s chart as well.
The “Cowboy Carter Tour,” which included multiple show runs in both London and Paris during May, is set to continue stateside beginning on June 28. Hometown crowds will welcome the superstar back to Houston for two nights at NRG Stadium before the final three U.S. engagements occur in the Washington, D.C.; Atlanta and Las Vegas markets.
Chris Brown and Iron Maiden also make a top 10 debut on LIVE75, landing at Nos. 4 and 6, respectively. Brown’s “Breezy Bowl XX World Tour” averaged 37,401 sold tickets from four recent performances at European venues, while the heavy metal band’s ticket average of 26,930 is based on nine performances during their “Run for Your Lives World Tour.”LIVE75’s “Breakthrough” touring artist is Teddy Swims who has the best sellout percentage among all artists ranked outside the top 25. With three shows reported from his “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy” tour, he sold a total of 16,940 tickets: 11,896 for two sellouts at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall and 5,044 at Daily’s Place Amphitheater in Jacksonville, Florida.
