Comedian Ron White has announced two special benefit performances in central Texas to raise money for recovery efforts following deadly floods in Central Texas. The shows are Aug. 8 at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio and Aug. 9 at Austin’s Paramount Theatre, with tickets going on sale tomorrow, July 15.

“In light of all the tragedies along the Guadalupe River over the 4th of July weekend, I’ve decided to do some shows called the ‘Ron White’s Guadalupe Love Fund,'” White said in the announcement, which says 100% of proceeds will go toward recovery efforts. “We’re going to raise a bunch of money. Luckily my friends and partners at the Paramount Theater in Austin and The Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, both of which I’ve worked with for 25 years, have agreed to donate the buildings. I’m going to come in and do some shows and every single penny that you guys spend on tickets will go to the efforts. Anyway, I love you, let’s all do what we can to help.”

Both shows will be headlined by White, with support “from a hand-picked lineup of Ron’s favorite comedians,” the announcement says.

VIP packages include meet and greet opportunities and a premium merch bundle. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well.

Those unable to attend are encouraged to donate to the Kerr County Flood Relief fund. Searches remain underway for those still missing after the devastating flash floods, with 132 people confirmed dead.
