Jeff Tweedy Announces Tour In Support Of New Solo Album

Wllco frontman Jeff Tweedy will tour North America and Europe this fall and into next winter in support of a new solo album.

Twilight Override, Tweedy’s first solo album in five years, is due Sept. 26, with his 36-date theater tour beginning Oct. 8 at Three Oaks, Michigan’s Acorn Theater. The North American leg includes stops in Toronto, Boston, Brooklyn and more, wrapping Nov. 21 at Shannon Hall in Madison, Wisconsin. The European leg begins Feb. 11 at Teatro Esalva in Madrid and will visit Barcelona, Paris, Geneva, Antwerp and Utrecht, finishing up at Islington Assembly Hall in London Feb. 20.

Tickets are on sale July 18 at 10 a.m. local.

Tweedy is touring with Wilco this summer, a run that included a 2,423-ticket sellout of the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama, May 12, grossing $153,643, according to Pollstar Boxoffice. As a solo act, Tweedy played a double at Chicago’s Vic Theater April 18 and 19, grossing $190,800 on a combined 1,908 tickets.
