Nigerian Afrobeats Artist Lojay Announces Debut Album And Global Headline Tour

Grammy-nominated Afrobeats artist Lojay (Lekan Osifeso Jr.) has announced his debut album XOXO, which is set for release on Aug. 22, and his XOXO global headline tour this fall starting Sept. 4 in Amsterdam at Bitterzoet.
The album includes recent standout singles “MWAH!” (featuring two-time MOBO winner Odeal), “Somebody Like You” (produced by Grammy-winning hitmaker Sarz) and his current new love song with a three-step sound, “Tenner.” The album is produced by Black Culture, fresh from his work on “Be There Still” from Davido’s latest LP 5IVE.
“I’m really excited for the world to hear XOXO,” shares Lojay in a release. “This album is everything to me – it’s my stories, my moments, my heart on every song. XOXO is everything I couldn’t say in a conversation – it’s messy, emotional, sexy and honest. I wanted it to feel like a late-night text you probably shouldn’t send – but do anyway.”
Along with the album announcement, Lojay announced his biggest European and North American tour to date with stops in Paris, Brussels, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Los Angeles, Houston, Washington D.C., Atlanta, New York, Boston and Tornonto. Tickets are now available.
Known for blending Afrobeats, R&B and experimental sounds, Lojay has gained more than 600 million streams on Spotify. He first gained international attention with his 2021 collaborative EP LV N ATTN, produced entirely by Grammy-winner Sarz and featuring global hits like the RIAA Gold-certified “Monalisa” and “Tonongo.”
In 2023, Lojay followed up with his critically acclaimed solo EP Gangster Romantic, with standout tracks “Moto,” “Yahweh” and “Leader!” connecting with global fans.
