Beatport Announces Beatport Connect L.A.

Beatport announced Beatport Connect L.A., a single-day summit for emerging artists, record labels and music industry professionals within the electronic music industry, will take place on Sept. 26 at the W Hotel Hollywood. Along with the announcement, Beatport Connect L.A. unveiled its first round of speakers including Sofi Tukker, DJ Minx, Katie Bain (Director of Billboard Dance), Moody Jones (General Manager of Dirtybird), Josh Love (Partner of Reed Smith LLP), Gregory Alexander (Founder of A Club Called Rhonda) and Claire Wright (CEO/Founder of BUDDY).

Tickets are now available, with 50% of all proceeds benefitting MusiCares. In addition to the summit’s daytime programming, attendees will have access to a sunset networking event on the WET Deck and a late-night Beatport Live event at The Loft (presented in collaboration with Insomniac Records). The evening portion’s event will also be available for purchase separately.
