Doja Cat will no longer be headlining Austin City Limits on Sundays Oct. 5 and 12, as the singer announced on Instagram she is dropping out of the festival to focus on the release of her upcoming album, Vie, slated for a Sept. 26 release. The Killers will be taking her slot both weekends of the festival.

“Unfortunately, I will not be performing at Austin City Limits this year,” Doja Cat said in a statement. “When I made the commitment I didn’t know exactly when Vie would be released. I’ve been working on finalizing the album, making videos, taking the time to put together an album campaign that I am really excited about, and it’s become clear to me that I cannot give you guys the show you deserve within this time frame. Thank you to the ACL team for their support and I hope to see you all again soon when the time is right. I’m forever grateful for the opportunity.”

Doja Cat is booked by CAA’s Jenna Adler worldwide, and is managed by SALXCO Management’s Gordan Dillard. With 37 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, she’s sold 361,138 tickets, grossing $39.3 million. This year, she also headlined Outside Lands in San Francisco.

Her last full-fledged tour took place from Oct. 31, 2023 (kicking off at Chase Center in San Francisco) and wrapped on July 14, 2024 at the Wireless Festival in London, with support from Ice Spice and Doechii.
