Garth Brooks To Kickoff Summerfest 2026

Country megastar Garth Brooks will perform the kick-off concert for Milwaukee’s Summerfest in 2026.

The performance, at American Family Insurance Amphitheater, is set for June 17, will be Brooks’ first-ever appearance the famously diverse festival and his first concert of any kind in Milwaukee in more than a decade.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 12, at Summerfest.com, Ticketmaster.com, or in person at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. Each ticket purchased will also include complimentary admission to Summerfest 2026, valid on any day of the festival.

Brooks has primarily performed in Las Vegas residencies over the past several years with a smattering of one-offs, including at the Grand Ole Opry House, New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome and Missouri’s Thunder Ridge Nature Arena. A 2022 stadium tour included five nights at Croke Park Stadium in Dublin, grossing $28,654,439 on 401,000 total tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
