Ghost Add North American Dates To ‘Skeletour World Tour’ 2026

Ghost continue to pack arenas in the new year on their “Skeletour World Tour.” The Swedish rock phenomenon just announced 20 new North American dates kicking off Jan. 21 at Kia Center in Orlando, FL, and running through Feb. 23 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
The “Skeletour World Tour” has so far sold half a million tickets, and counting, having just wrapped three nights at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico, Sept. 23-25.
The boxoffice reports for those final shows of 2025 hadn’t been submitted to Pollstar at press time, but highlights from this year’s first North American run include a sold-out Aug. 11 concert at PHX Arena in Phoenix, AZ, which moved 9,549 tickets at a $1,152,333 gross; a sold-out MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV, Aug. 9 (10,758 tickets, $1,178,283 grossed); or 11,454 tickets sold and $1,214,473 grossed at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL, Aug. 1.
The first North American leg of the “Skeletour World Tour” also included Ghost’s historic first-ever sold-out headlining show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 22, for which fans snatched up all available 12,527 tickets, generating a $1,385,794 gross.
“With Ghost and its melodramatic and surreal ritual experience in higher demand than ever, the Skeletour World Tour 2026 will further expand the GRAMMY-winning Swedish theatrical rock icons’ community to attract their largest and most diverse audiences to date,” a press release from tour promoter Live Nation reads.
Continuing a tradition that “demonstrated just how simple, and wonderful, a screenless concert can be,” as the Boston Globe reported, the “Skeletour World Tour 2026” will continue to be a phone-free experience. Phones will be secured in Yondr pouches. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times.
The “Skeletour World Tour” so far has featured the live debut of songs from Ghost’s sixth studio album, Skeletá, the first to reach the number-one-spot on the Billboard 200. Released April 25 via Loma Vista Recordings, Skeletá marked the first time a hard rock album topped the U.S. album chart since 2020.
It also saw number-one-debuts in Ghost’s home country of Sweden, as well as Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland and Finland.
The 2025 European run of the “Skeletour World Tour” was also completely sold out. Highlights taken from the Pollstar Boxoffice include a sold out Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland, May 20 (11,205 tickets, $1,147,351 grossed); Accor Arena in Paris France, May 13 (13,879 tickets, $1,207,910 grossed); or 13,399 tickets sold at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, May 8, grossing $1,039,169.
At home in Sweden, where Ghost performed at Göransson Arena, May 23, the band moved 14,233 tickets at a $1,144,661 gross.
Ghost are managed by Kristen Mulderig and Rick Sales of The Rick Sales Entertainment Group. They are booked by Independent Artist Group in North America and by John Jackson of K2 Agency in the remaining territories.
Citi cardmembers and Verizon customers have already had early access to tickets for the “Skeletour World Tour 2026.” The artist presale kicks off today, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m. local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale starting Friday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. local time at ghost-official.com.
