Becky Rosen-Checa Tapped As Talent Buyer For LA’s Fonda Theatre

The Fonda Theatre, a historic venue on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, has a new talent buyer. Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Presents, announced that it tapped Becky Rosen Checa to book shows at the iconic theater.

Rosen-Checa comes from another Goldenvoice venue, Fox Theater Pomona, and has also booked one-off shows in the L.A. area. She succeeds the legendary Donna Busch, who was named the Small Venue Talent Buyer of the Year at the 2025 Pollstar Awards in April.

“Becky will do an excellent job booking the Fonda, a truly iconic venue in Los Angeles. It’s an exciting next step in her career,” Paul Tollett, President of Goldenvoice, said in a statement. “Of course, we thank Donna Busch for her dedication and years of booking the Fonda and look forward to her next chapter with Goldenvoice. “

Rosen-Checa has worked with Goldenvoice since 2017 and booked shows for the Roxy Theatre and El Rey Theatre, two historic L.A. institutions. She has also contributed to Goldenvoice’s festival properties such as Surf Club and Desert Air. The young talent buyer was featured on Pollstar‘s 2025 Impact NextGen list in August.

Artists who have performed at the Fonda in the past year include Alex Warren, Lola Young, Shaboozey, Treaty Oak Revival and Clairo.
