John Summit’s Experts Only Festival Announces 2026 Return

Following the success of last September’s inaugural Experts Only Festival on Randall’s Island in New York City, John Summit’s festival is expected to return to the same location on Sept. 19 and 20, 2026.

Produced in partnership with Medium Rare, Relentless Beats and EMW, the festival stands as New York City’s landmark dance music event. Last year featured performances by Summit himself, as well as Ayybo, Kaskade back-to-back Cassian, Green Velvet back-to-back Layton Giordani, Roddy Lima, LP Giobbi and more.

“There wasn’t a clear opportunity in the market where things like E-Zoo and everything had been in the past,” Holt Harmon, John Summit’s manager and CEO of Metatone, told Pollstar in July. “There wasn’t a clear, dominant festival in the New York market. And, for us, the first bit was more like, ‘We hope somebody creates a new festival,’ more than anything. Then, six to nine months ago, we realized it could be something we even work on ourselves.”

Putting the festival together came quickly for the team, who had dreams to expand the event in subsequent years.

Fans who attended last year’s festival will have access to a loyalty presale beginning Nov. 25 at 12 p.m. ET. Further announcements regarding Experts Only’s 2026 lineup will be revealed soon.
