VenuWorks Names Robert Thomas New Cedar Rapids Executive Director

Venue operator VenuWorks has announced the appointment of live music industry veteran Robert Thomas as the new executive director overseeing the company’s Cedar Rapids facilities.

In this role, Thomas will manage operations for Alliant Energy PowerHouse, Paramount Theatre, McGrath Amphitheater and the ImOn Ice Arena Cedar Rapids.

Thomas brings nearly two decades of industry experience, with extensive background in venue operations and talent buying.

Thomas’ experience includes most recently as vice president of programming & talent and president at theater owner and operator TempleLive, which during his time expanded into multiple markets including Columbus, and Peoria. He also previously worked as a talent buyer at Live Nation.
