George Strait Sets Austin In-The-Round Shows

Texas legend George Strait will perform in the round two nights at Austin’s Moody Center in April.

Tickets for the Messina Touring-promoted shows April 9 and 11 go on sale Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. local.

Strait has stadium shows already on the docket for Lubbock, Texas (April 24-25) and Clemson, S.C. (May 2).

Following his record-setting 2024 performance at College Station, Texas’ Kyle Field, which drew 110,905, Strait played just five shows in 2025 — Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Foxborough and Inglewood. Those show sold a total of 240,055 tickets, grossing a combined $52,059,380, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
