Dates Unveiled For ‘Haute & Freddy’s Big Disgrace Tour’

With just over a week to go before the release of their debut album, buzzy alt-pop duo Haute & Freddy have confirmed dates for a tour taking them to venues and festivals in Europe and North America.
The Los Angeles-based duo made up of Michelle Buzz and Lance Shipp have been named an “Artist You Need To Know” by Rolling Stone, with Spin praising the group for their “finely honed songcraft” and “alt-pop spectacle.”
The 13-song Big Disgrace is set for release March 13 via Atlantic Records and includes the single “Dance The Pain Away,” which the duo released last month. (Check out the video at the end of this post.)
“‘Dance The Pain Away’ is a feeling we’ve been dreaming of capturing in a song,” the duo said in a statement. “It’s that crowded dance floor, forget-the-world energy — the chaos of life melting away, even if only for a moment.”
The European portion of the tour starts with a May 11 show at Bush Hall in London, followed by festival appearances at The Great Escape Festival and London Calling.
The duo kicks off their North American travels with a May 24 appearance at Lighting In A Bottle Festival near Bakersfield, California. Stops on the trek include Toronto, Montreal, Atlanta, Nashville, Kansas City, Denver, Los Angeles, Houston, Detroit and Minneapolis. Additional festival appearances include Hinterland Music Festival in St. Charles, Iowa, and Outside Lands in San Francisco.
The artist presale is happening now and will run through 11:59 p.m. local time on Thursday, March 5. Fans can sign up for presale access at www.hauteandfreddy.com (password: SHOWGIRL). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
Haute & Freddy’s tour dates are booked in North America by Wasserman Music’s Lenore Kinder and Leigh Millhauser, with European dates booked by Adele Slater.
