2026 Women Of Live: Warda Baig
Warda Baig
Live Nation | Global Tour Promoter
THE RIGHT FIT | “I worked in men’s clothing sales at Nordstrom throughout college. It taught me valuable lessons in sales, communication, and customer relationships at an early age.”

Fifteen years ago, Warda Baig began her stint at Live Nation with specific goals in mind for global touring. She’s achieved just that since being promoted to global tour promoter in 2022, but she managed to accomplish something she had never done before: work on a stadium tour booked across the world.
The seasoned promoter collaborated with teams across many territories, from marketers to partners, to book Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s successful trek, which claimed the No. 4 spot on Pollstar’s 2025 Top 200 Worldwide Tours chart. It was a crowning achievement for everyone involved, especially the artists.
Baig shares with Pollstar the work ethic that has helped her at Live Nation and why she’s hopeful for the future of women in live music.
Pollstar: In these fraught times, how do you view the state of women in the live industry today, and what opportunities and challenges do you see?
Warda Baig: Women have made significant progress in this industry, though there are still barriers to overcome. I’m encouraged by the continued growth and see mentorship and community as key drivers for uplifting the next generation. There is also a real opportunity for more seasoned women in the industry to connect with emerging talent, share knowledge, and help shape a more inclusive future.
What philosophy guides you in your career?
I believe in running toward challenges and leading with kindness. Facing challenges head-on has helped me grow, and practicing kindness has strengthened my relationships and ability to collaborate effectively. The better we work together, the better the outcomes. Challenges are opportunities to learn, evolve, and continue improving.
What business advice do you give to young women coming up in the business?
Be intentional about building your financial stability, your relationships, and your reputation. Save consistently, invest in your network, and be thoughtful about how you show up for others. Practicality, authenticity, and consistency have been key to my growth, and I encourage others to approach their careers with that same mindset.
