Ed O’Brien Maps Out UK & European Solo Tour With Dave Okumu & ESKA

Ed O’Brien, guitarist and backing vocalist for Radiohead, announced his first solo headline tour across the U.K. and Europe promoting his sophomore solo album, Blue Morpho, which will be released May 22.
“An Evening With… Blue Morpho” is a seven-date trek that also features Australian artist Dave Okumu and British singer-songwriter ESKA. The tour kicks off Oct. 4 at Carré in Amsterdam, followed by shows at Milan’s Teatro Lirico, Salle Pleyel in Paris, Berlin’s Admiralspalast, Laeiszhalle in Hamburg and Groningen’s Oosterpoort Main Hall before wrapping up Oct. 16 at The Barbican in London.

A new album and tour give O’Brien an opportunity to warm up what may come next year. The artist recently told Rolling Stone in an interview that Radiohead plans on performing about 20 shows a year on different continents starting in 2027.
Radiohead toured Europe last year from Nov. 4 through Dec. 16, including four nights at Madrid’s Movistar Arena, where the band grossed slightly more than $3 million and sold roughly 17,200 tickets per show with a total gross of close to $12.2M and nearly 69,000 tickets sold with prices ranging from $55 – $253.
