AEG Presents UK Appoints Robbie Powell GM Of British Airways ARC

With the opening night of British Airways ARC set for June 16, AEG Presents UK today announce the appointment of the venue’s first General Manager: Robbie Powell.
Powell joins AEG with over 15 years experience in large-scale venue and festival operations. As a senior venue leader, he has been responsible for delivering both commercial and operational success across major UK venues.
Most recently Robbie was Theatre Director at New Wimbledon Theatre. Prior to this he served as General Manager at the Fortune Theatre in London’s West End and he held senior positions at Pleasance Theatre Trust and the Barbican Centre.
Robbie will be responsible for the day to day operations of British Airways ARC. He will report to Lucy Noble, SVP UK Venues, AEG Presents.

The 3,800-capacity state-of-the-art, purpose-built live music and events venue British Airways ARC is operated by AEG Presents UK. The venue is part of the £1.3 billion transformation of Olympia , London. Built as an events and exhibitions venue 140 years ago the site is steeped in a rich musical history.
