Top Tours: Noah Kahan Takes ‘Great Divide Tour’ To Live75, Scores Top Chart Debut

Noah Kahan makes his first appearance on the weekly LIVE75 chart since launching the new world tour in support of his critically acclaimed fourth studio album The Great Divide, released in April. The singer-songwriter enters the lineup at No. 4 with “Hot Shot” status as the touring artist with the highest-ranked debut on the chart.

According to ticket sales figures reported by tour promoter Live Nation, he averaged 35,623 sold tickets per show at the tour’s first six concerts, four of them set in stadiums, making him one of the six concert headliners appearing on the chart with stadium ticket sales included in their totals.

Bad Bunny ranks highest at No. 1 with a ticket average of 57,726, followed by Luke Combs and Fuerza Regida, all three performing exclusively in stadium-sized venues. Then, Iron Maiden and Rüfüs Du Sol join Kahan with a mix of stadium shows and arena or amphitheater dates.

Kahan launched “The Great Divide Tour” with sold-out arena concerts at Kia Center in Orlando, Florida on June 11 and 12. Attendance totaled 26,684 over both nights, earning a gross of $4.37 million for the tour opener. Then, following a headlining appearance on the final night of the Bonnaroo Festival, he played his first stadium event on the tour at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on June 26, selling a total of 48,206 tickets.

Stadium dates followed in three North American cities through July 3, beginning with Toronto, where he sold 53,506 tickets at Rogers Stadium. Then, his ticket count at Cincinnati’s Great American Ballpark totaled 42,709, and at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, he welcomed 42,633 fans. Overall, his first six performances racked up a combined gross of $33 million from 213,738 sold tickets.

The tour will continue its North American leg through the end of August with most of the upcoming concerts also booked in Major League Baseball stadiums. Then Kahan will take the tour Down Under for a string of Australian and New Zealand arena shows in September and October before heading to Europe in November. The tour’s finale is currently planned for Dec. 7 at Accor Arena in Paris.

Elsewhere on Pollstar’s weekly charts, BTS remains at No. 1 on Global Concert Pulse for a seventh week based on an average gross of $12.3 million from 10 performances on their “Arirang World Tour.” They debuted at No. 2 on the May 22 chart, moved to No. 1 two weeks later and have retained the top ranking ever since.

Then, the Artist Power Index features a debut at No. 18 by JAŸ-Z based on his three-show New York engagement at Yankee Stadium, July 10-12, celebrating the anniversaries of his Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint albums.
