Icona Pop Unveil Fall Tour Dates

Icona Pop will be visiting U.S. venues this fall to promote their upcoming album Ritual, which will be released Aug. 14 via Ultra Records/Iconic Sound Recordings.

The Swedish synthpop duo announced shows in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and a special outing in Las Vegas.

Icona Pop, comprising Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo, recently gave fans a preview of the forthcoming album by releasing its latest single, “Yellow Top.” Ritual captures the duo at their authentic, “celebrating resilience, friendship, vulnerability and the freedom found on the dancefloor,” according to a release announcing the tour.

“Healing requires you to slow down and reflect, but you can’t work on yourself 24/7 forever. Eventually, you have to get back out into the world and see what happens,” Icona Pop said about the project. “You might mess up—but that could be exactly what you need. For us, the dance floor has always been a place where we find ourselves and each other again. It’s where we can disappear into the music and let go of everything else.”
