DOMI & JD BECK Unveil The “Who Asked?” Tour

Domi & JD Beck, the fusion jazz duo consisting of French keyboardist Domi Louna and American drummer JD Beck, are hitting the road this fall for the ‘Who Asked?’ tour.

The trek will begin in the United States on Sept. 9 at The Echo in Dallas, TX. After 26 dates in the US, the tour will head to Australia for three dates starting on Nov. 10, and then conclude in Asia, with that leg of the tour kicking off on Nov. 17. The new tour was put together to support the duo’s newly released album, Who Asked? Unlike their 2022 debut album, Not Tight, Who Asked? includes no special guests across 15 carefully arranged (and very busy) compositions. In an interview with NPR, the musicians talked about the concept of “time” being a through line on this project.

“I think it’s because we’re around a lot of people who care so much about age,” Domi said. “Personally, I think I’ve heard so much, like, oh, man, age, time is going so fast and stuff. And I don’t necessarily agree or think we should care about it that much. But it’s always lingering, you know? Also, we’re growing older because we started playing instruments so young.”
