Exclusive: Mexican Music Icon Pedro Fernández Embarking On 2026 Tour Across US & Mexico

America’s Aventurero is making his way back to venues in the U.S. and Mexico this fall with his “Ave Fénix Two’r,” reaffirming Pedro Fernández’s status as one of Mexican music’s most iconic figures.

Fernández will perform at two of the busiest arenas in Mexico, Sept. 5 at Auditorio Nacional in the nation’s capital and Nov. 7 at Guadalajara’s Auditorio Telmex, and play 13 U.S. shows

The Live Nation-promoted tour opens the U.S. leg Oct. 15 at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, and the routing includes stops at San Jose Civic in the Bay Area, New York’s Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden, Rosemont Theatre near Chicago, Yaamava’ Theater in Highland, Denver’s Bellco Theatre, 713 Music Hall in Houston and Phoenix’s Arizona Financial Theatre before wrapping up Dec. 5 at Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre in San Diego.

A Citi presale begins today, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. EST, and additional presales will run ahead of the general onsale, which begins Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com.

The new trek builds off his successful 2025 run, “Ave Fénix Tour,” and this year’s trek promises a “completely reimagined experience” with a world-class production and a setlist that has made Fernández an icon of música Mexicana, according to a release announcing the tour. “Ave Fénix Two’r” is a celebration of Fernández’s career spanning more than four decades, with a catalog that has defined generations, including hit songs “Yo No Fui,” “Amarte a la Antiguia,” “Mi Forma de Sentir” and “El Aventurero.”

The three-time Latin Grammy winner, born José Martín Cuevas Cobos in Guadalajara, had a successful tour last year, including a show at Rosemont Theatre on Aug. 23, that grossed $319,270 off 3,890 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.

In addition to a standout music career, Fernández launched his entertainment career starring in the film La de la Mochila Azul and singing the album based on the movie, which made him one of Latin America’s most beloved child stars. He went on to release 39 studio albums and star in 25 feature films. He’s also been a part of seven telenovelas and one television series.
