United Talent Agency is expanding its music division with the addition of six new executives including Chris Anderson (Agent), Randy Freedman (Agent, Music Brand Partnerships), Jordan Golenberg (Agent), and Lauren Katzakian (Executive, Business Affairs) in the Los Angeles office, along with Anthony Brown (Agent) and Becky Drouet (Agent) in London. The agency has also announced 11 internal promotions.

Anderson, who has spent nearly two decades working in artist management and talent representation, will develop tour strategy for a diverse roster of artists at UTA.

Freedman and Katzakian both arrived at UTA from Universal Music Group. Today’s announcement notes that Freedman “will focus his efforts within the Music Brand Partnerships division, where he brings more than a decade of experience creating talent partnerships for some of the world’s leading artists and brands.” Katzakian, who has over a decade of experience at Universal Music Group (UMG) and elsewhere, will focus on touring and Music Brand Partnerships.

Golenberg has several years of booking experience and joins from Day After Day Productions.

Brown previously spent over 13 years at CAA, “where he shaped global touring careers and built long-term strategies for international artists, specializing in hip-hop and R&B.”

Drouet arrives at UTA after 18 years at LPO, “booking major tours and live events for internationally renowned artists,” and her new role will see her working across touring and corporate/private groups.

“We’re thrilled to welcome this exceptional group of agents and executives to UTA Music, and look forward to working together in support of our clients,” said Sam Kirby Yoh and David Zedeck, Co-Heads of Global Music. “From embracing new colleagues to recognizing our own, we’re proud to elevate a remarkably bright and promising class of coordinators. Their dedication, hard work and spirit are the driving force behind everything we do.”

UTA’s newest coordinator class includes the promotion of Juan Aguirre, Lindsey Cole, Alia Lopotanak, and Mark Soleymani in the Los Angeles office; Julian Huff, Pearse Matteson, and Jenna Shatzman in New York, Cat Ingersoll in Nashville; and Dylan Bryant, Brooke Newton, and Emily Rhodes in London. Today’s announcement notes that the “coordinator class will support agents and executives across myriad divisions within the music department, including touring, marketing, brand partnerships, music crossover, A&R and more.”

Last month, UTA announced that James Wright had been promoted to Co-Head Of UK Music at UTA. Earlier this year, seven new music partners were announced in March.
