Karol G, Miguel Bosé, Sebastián Yatra, Maluma And Many More To Gather For Colombian Benefit Concert

Live music executives are doing their part to help those affected by the devastating earthquakes in Colombia by organizing “Colombia: Voces Por La Vida,” a benefit concert taking place Aug. 23 at Bogotá’s Vive Claro Distrito Cultural that brings together stars such as Karol G, Maluma, Eladio Carrión, Sebastián Yatra, Miguel Bosé and more.
Luz Ángela Castro, CEO of prominent Latin promoter OCESA Colombia, questioned what would be done to help the country recover from the quakes. What started as a conversation between colleagues quickly evolved into a collective effort across the music industry, with Gonzalo Villalón of Villalón Entertainment, event producer Diomar García, Alfredo Villaveces of MOVE Concerts, Gabriel García of Páramo Presenta, Cárdenas Marketing Network CEO Henry Cárdenas, management agency Vibras Lab and others joining the cause, coming together to use the power of music to help Colombia’s rebuilding efforts.
Colombian megastar Karol G is taking time off from her global stadium tour to participate in the event via livestream in collaboration with her Con Cora Foundation. Other artists on the bill include Andrés Cepeda, Grupo Nich, Luis Alfonso, Kris R, Greeicy, Silvestre Dangold, Draco Rosa, Pedro Capó and Manuel Turizo, aiming to inspire a call to action and encourage audiences everywhere to contribute.
Media and strategic partners for the benefit show include Canal RCN, RCN Radio, Diario La República, Vira, Línea Estratégica Latam, Vibras Lab, and Vive Claro Distrito Cultural.
Tickets for the concert are available via Ticketmaster.
