Bieber Claim Statutory Rape?
Yeater reportedly filed court papers Oct. 31 claiming she has a three-month-old child and Bieber is the baby (baby baby) daddy. Bieber has denied the “malicious” claims.
The woman said she went to a Beeb show at Los Angeles’ Staples Center last October. A security guard allegedly approached her and asked if she wanted to go backstage to meet the singer.
Yeater claims it was “obvious that we were mutually attracted to one another.” One thing led to another and she claims Bieber became a man with a 30-second tryst in a bathroom.
Fox News has noted that the age of consent in California is 18, which means Yeater could be potentially accused of statutory rape.
The New York Post asked defense attorney Steve Cron if it was possible.
“Under a normal situation, no harm, no foul,” Cron told the paper. “I would think [prosecutors] might let it go. But under these circumstances, the DA’s office has to show they’re not treating women differently, not treating a celebrity differently, [and] they might have to do something.”
Yeater has asked for a paternity test. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Dec. 16.
Bieber just released his Christmas album, Underneath The Mistletoe.
