Metallica Does It For Fans
The embodiment of everything that’s metal takes over San Francisco’s Fillmore Dec. 5, 7 & 9-10. But you can’t buy tickets through a general public onsale. You’ll need to be a Club Met member in good standing, yet another reminder that membership does have its privileges.
A posting on the band’s website promises the shows will include “special guests and events, rare songs, varied set lists, odds and ends, and all the nutty stuff you expect from Metallica … fun for the entire family!”
If this doesn’t sound like a metal dream come true then maybe the ticket price will convince you. The band will be selling “four packs” which include one ticket for each of the four shows plus entry into contests for other special events for a price that commemorates the year it all started. That’s right. A four pack will cost you $19.81. But if you can go to only one show, single tickets will be $6 a piece.
Wanna go? Heck, who wouldn’t? Metallica is handling ticketing by taking reservations through Aug. 8. Click here for more information.
