Melissa Ferrick Gets Busy
Releasing her first studio album in five years, the classy singer/songwriter lays out some extensive roadwork detailing headlining dates as well as gigs with Ani DiFranco.
Still Right Here marks Melissa Ferrick’s first new studio release in half a decade. With one track featuring guest vocals from DiFranco while another showcases guitar playing by Kaki King, the album drops Sept. 13 on Mpress Records.

Ferrick’s shows with DiFranco begin in Pittsfield, Mass., at the Colonial Theatre Nov. 9 and wrap up at New York City’s Town Hall Nov. 19. Stops in between include Boston’s Wilbur Theatre Nov. 10; Bethlehem, Pa., at Zoeller Art Center Nov. 15 and Brooklyn’s Music Hall Of Williamsburg Nov. 18.
